anette & JASON
A beautiful wedding of blended Australian elements for Jason, and nods to Norway for Anette. It was such a pleasure to create this native installation on one of Noosa’s iconic beaches, blending in two of the landscapes Australia is most known for; the beach and the bush. I love the sculptural feel natives so effortlessly provide, particularly with banksias and native foliage, and this allowed us to create a truly impactful design for the ceremony, alongside eucalyptus branches and creek stones. Anette’s oversized and statement cascading bouquet was a monochromatic blend of eucalyptus and native greens, creating a softer and less contrasted look for her personal florals. The flowers for the tables at Ricky’s Noosa were a blend of native foliage and flowers, all labelled with handwritten cards by us, to give their international guests a taste for some of our native and local species.
After the ceremony, Anette and Jason memorably paddle boarded to Ricky’s to meet their guests for the reception. Anette was 6 months pregnant at the time with their second child, so not only was this a physically impressive feat, but an iconic one.
