What else can I say other than this was the absolute dream wedding to create. Anna and Lyndon, like all of our couples, are so genuine and down to earth, this was such a special memory and a wedding I’ll remember forever. Nestled in the Gold Coast Hinterland is Anna & Lyndon’s home, which boasts truly one of the most staggering views of the Gold Coast hinterland and skyline towards the coast. It really needs to be seen to be believed. In any case, what an incredible foundation and setting for us to create the timeless florals for their amazing wedding day.

We had a fairly neutral palette, mostly white and ivory with splashes of caramel, toffee and cappuccino, with just accented, branching/spriggy greenery. Anna was another bride who gave us the general guidelines for her day then trusted us to bring it to life. When it boils down, I’d say we were leaning towards a truly classic, European feeling that was both modern and timeless. Think lots and lots and lots of roses, paired with seasonal blooms such as delphinium, ranunculus, anthuriums, phalaenopsis orchids, carnations and sweet william. We kept the floral varieties to a minimum so we could focus more on grouping and boldness and just general abundance.

For the ceremony we had an assortment of large white pots and urns overflowing with abundant florals, some petite gardens to line the aisle and just a few petals here and there. For the reception, it was a dream to create this real flower wall of deep greenery as a base then just layers and layers of roses and other blooms to create a truly stunning backdrop for the bridal table. Another statement of the reception area was the sculpted cake table florals, created to accentuate the Marina Machado wedding cake. Simple yet elegant ceramic bowl arrangements adorned the cocktail tables and guest tables, and florals also graced all of the signs, seating charts, bar, front of bridal table and cocktail area. There was truly flowers everywhere you looked, which I think is what Anna was really hoping for.
